Job Description




As a Security Officer - Unarmed Auto Patrol Driver in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, assisting with access control, and providing exceptional customer service to all visitors and employees. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the premises by vehicle as needed. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and/or protocols, and responding appropriately to emergencies when needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and promoting a secure environment.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, observing for unusual activity and reporting concerns as outlined by Allied Universal and site procedures.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations while on patrol.
  • Communicate clearly with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
  • Support access control procedures to help manage the flow of vehicles and personnel entering the location.
  • Assist with implementing emergency response protocols and participate in drills as required by the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
