What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies relevant to retail and mall locations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, taking appropriate action based on the situation.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail and mall property, including the perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe for unusual conditions.
• Communicate and/or report any security-related concerns, incidents, or observations to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or site management.
• Assist with access control, visitor management, and/or other security-related duties as assigned by Allied Universal leadership.
• Support emergency response activities as needed while maintaining a professional and approachable presence at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
