The Laboratory for Neuropsychiatry and Neuromodulation at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard University works on a variety of exciting and innovative human neuroscience projects under the mentorship of Dr. Paolo Cassano. Our laboratory is a multidisciplinary group conducting clinical, translational, and basic neuroscience research with neuropsychiatric populations, including Alzheimer's Disease, Down syndrome, Major Depressive Disorder, and Bipolar Disorder. We specialize in transcranial photobiomodulation (tPBM), a form of brain stimulation/neuromodulation, and use a wide variety of techniques, including neuroimaging (fMRI, PET, EEG), behavioral, and clinical assessments.
The Clinical Research Coordinator I (CRC I) will perform a range of responsibilities to support the research studies conducted within the laboratory. Work will include completing experiments, data gathering and analysis and records management. The CRC I will work closely with investigators, post-docs, and study staff to oversee current and upcoming studies. The CRC I's responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Conduct tPBM, MRI, and EEG experiments. Conduct clinical and neuropsychological assessments. Perform MRI, EEG, and behavioral data analysis. Coordinate recruitment of study patients and subjects, act as a resource for them and their families. Work closely with the Institutional Review Board (IRB) to maintain and update appropriate study regulatory forms. Compile and maintain clinical research databases, patient files, reports, regulatory binders, and study databases. Perform quality control data checks. Participate in the production of scholarly reports, research abstracts, posters, and manuscripts for publication (including privileged opportunities for first author roles when appropriate). May publish and present at national conferences. Perform other duties as required. The General Hospital Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer. By embracing diverse skills, perspectives and ideas, we choose to lead.
