Responsibilities

Responsibilities include communicating with all staff and management to determine their business requirements needs; conducting group discussions and user interviews to understand and document functional business processes and work flows in a team setting; communicate business problems and desired solutions with solution providers and work to meet requirement deadlines.

  • Gain an understanding of key business systems, tasks and workflow decision-making.
  • Review key business decisions, business scenarios and processes made during analysis and design.
  • Identify specific configuration requirements and business solutions for identified processes.
  • Verify and test requirements and business scenarios for each solution ratio requirements and business solutions for identified processes.
  • Make changes to the business model if required.
  • Make amendments to system documentation.
  • Work with project development and implementation teams of each business solution to ensure that:
  • Business requirements are met.
  • All documentation is current and up-to-date.
  • All system changes are implemented, tested and verified.
  • Training modules and training reflect the specific requirements identified.
  • Communicate with all internal staff, as well as CBNA branches, NSCC, and DTC to determine business solutions, communicate and resolve conflicts.
  • Maintain proficient knowledge of, and demonstrate ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to this position, ensure ongoing adherence to policies, procedures, and internal controls, and meet all training requirements in a timely manner


Qualifications

Education,Training and Requirements:

  • Minimum of Associate's Degree with Business and IT emphasis
  • All applicants must be 18 years of age or older

Competencies:

  • Displays good planning, organizational, time management, analytical, investigative, and negotiation skills
  • Well-developed written and oral communication skills
  • An ability to clearly understand a business process, communicate it, and translate it to functional system requirements
  • Relate to customers and co-workers with respect, providing clear and detailed information
  • Display an intermediate level competency with Microsoft Office applications, as well as personal computer skills

Experience:

Proven Business Analyst or senior level project management experience required. Experience within defined contribution, defined benefit, audit, trust and fund trading a plus. Familiarity with writing testable requirements; knowledge of typical migration and implementation issues associated with each project; knowledge of SQL and Visual Basic concepts.
