Maintenance Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for internal company audits and associated analysis for the area assigned. In accordance with the company Safety Management System (SMS) they will assist the Director of Safety with the continual analysis and improvement of company maintenance processes and procedures. Success can be realized by ensuring internal and external customer satisfaction, developing/retaining profitable market share, increasing non acquisition growth, and embracing GMR's mission. Starting salary between $85,000-$95,000. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES * Compiles audit plans, audit check sheets and procedures for audits. * Performs internal audits of 135/145 and 206/407 process, documents and data. * Performs safety inspection of maintenance areas and facilities. * Compiles audit results and report's findings to the Director of Safety. * Performs spot checks of 135/145 and 206//407 processes to promote quality improvement. * Performs root cause analysis for quality issues found in area of assignment and report's findings. * May be required to travel to and collect pertinent statements, evidence and information important to the analysis of an accident. * In accordance with the GMR SMS identifies hazards and performs/assists with safety risk and change management assessments. * Ensure effectiveness of safety risk controls. * Promotes safety. * Accountable for achieving safety performance relative to job tasks. * Serves on quality focus teams and workgroups. * Promotes an attitude of continual improvement with co-workers and is constantly looking for areas to improve in quality of maintenance operations. Experience/Education: * High school diploma or equivalent * Mechanic's certificate with Airframe & Powerplant ratings, IA preferred * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite * Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma practice preferred Strong analysis and problem solving ability * Knowledge of applicable Federal Aviation Regulations and manufacturer directives * Five years' experience in Part 135/145 helicopter maintenance operations * Experience in Quality Improvement/assurance processes strongly preferred STRESS FACTORS Frequently: Intense tasks, busy environment. Physical Demands: * Occasionally: Walking inside, carrying no greater than 25 pounds, kneeling, stooping, bending, and leaning. * Frequently: Hearing/listening, clear speech, touching, typing. * Constantly: Sitting, seeing, reading. MENTAL REQUIREMENTS Frequently:Analyzing, decision making. Constantly:Simple reading and writing, high math and writing skills, clerical, memorization, perception/computation, problem solving, simple math skills, judgement and reasoning.
