About the Opportunity

DMI, LLC is seeking a Senior Data Communications Engineer to join us. The Senior Data Communications Engineer will support the End User Account Management (EUAM) team within the DISA J6 environment. This role focuses on managing and securing user access across multiple classified and unclassified networks, ensuring compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies, and supporting enterprise directory services and provisioning systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

    Account Lifecycle Management:
    • Support the creation, modification, disablement, and deletion of user accounts across NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and Yellow networks.
    • Utilize tools such as Active Roles Server, DEPO, and DISA provisioning systems to manage account provisioning and access control.
    • Ensure timely processing of account requests in accordance with performance standards.
    • Directory Services & Network Integration:
  • Manage Active Directory (AD) user accounts, including resource and external sub-domains.
    • Coordinate with DISA and other DoD entities to ensure proper integration of directory services and enterprise email systems (e.g., DOD365-J, DEOS).
  • Security & Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with DoD and DISA cybersecurity policies, including dormant account management and privileged account controls.
    • Support audits, inspections, and data calls from cybersecurity and compliance stakeholders.
    • Maintain documentation and logs for account-related activities to support audit readiness.
  • Automation & Scripting:
    • Develop and maintain PowerShell and Python scripts to automate account management tasks and improve operational efficiency.
    • Support bulk account operations and workflow enhancements.
  • Reporting & Analysis:
    • Generate and maintain reports such as Dormant Accounts, Disabled/Deleted Accounts, and Account Journaling Reports.
    • Analyze account usage trends and provide recommendations for optimization.
  • Collaboration & Support:
    • Work closely with the VIP Support, Mobile Device, and Cybersecurity teams to ensure seamless account provisioning and deprovisioning.
    • Provide subject matter expertise during system upgrades, migrations, and enterprise initiatives.


Qualifications

Required Skills/Certifications:
  • Secret security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in enterprise account management or directory services.
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP, and enterprise provisioning tools.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation in a DoD environment.
  • Familiarity with DISA STIGs, IAVM, and DoD cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Security+ CE (DoD 8570 IAT Level II compliant) - preferred
  • Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate - preferred
  • ITIL Foundation or equivalent - preferred
