Acara Solutions is seeking a Finance Analyst to join our client, Rolls Royce, on a year long contract opportunity located in Indianapolis IN 46225. This role provides a wide range of financial support while the business grows and engages in special projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the monthly financial reporting process, including posting journals, preparing actuals and forecast schedules, and providing variance analysis with commentary.
- Perform monthly Balance Sheet reviews, validate key movements, and close out control items.
- Provide business partner services as needed across Finance Control, Financial Planning & Analysis, and Business Partnering functions.
- Support development and maintenance of Strategic Plan, Five-Year Plan, in-year forecasts, and analyze opportunities, threats, and financial levers.
- Present financial data to management and validate accounting policies, principles, and procedures.
- Improve financial processes and ensure alignment with associated procedures.
- Research and review accounting issues, providing recommendations and support.
- Develop and maintain long-term project and contract profit plans, including Long-Term Contract Reviews (LTCRs).
- Provide ad hoc support such as contract billings, payments, and miscellaneous financial analysis.

Required Skills / Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of Accounting or Financial Analysis experience.
- Minimum 4 years of experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Minimum 4 years of SAP experience.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with 2+ years of experience; Master's, JD, or PhD considered.
- Familiarity with financial reporting and basic accounting principles.
- Ability to work in an Agile environment and quickly adapt to tasks and responsibilities.
- Experience with Hyperion Financial Reporting, HFM, Oracle, or VBM.
- Aerospace or manufacturing industry experience.
- Strong analytical skills and business partnering experience.
