I. JOB OVERVIEW






Job Description Summary:
The purpose of the Program Coordinator position is to provide general administrative support to and on behalf of the GW Center for Rehabilitation Counseling, Research and Education. The position will work closely with several programs housed at the GW CRCRE.

US Department of Education Long Term Training Grant (five-year project):

  • Serve as a point of contact for the Online MA Rehabilitation Program.
  • Support includes answering routine and complex inquiries, enrollment assistance, updating websites, Advisory Committees, planning and executing events, scheduling rooms, ordering equipment, processing payments, data entry, preparing reports, and similar duties.
  • Outreach to other GW stakeholders in order to assist in maintaining standard operational efficiencies.
  • Duties are administrative in nature including tasks that are routine, and under the general supervision of more senior personnel within the department, or program.


NJ-B CSNA (one-year project):

  • Research & data gathering: Compile New Jersey demographic - data from sources such as the ACS and the Disability Compendium.
  • Data analysis: Assist with survey data (staff, consumers, CRPs) and focus group responses, including cleaning, coding, and basic statistical summaries.
  • Reporting: Contribute to drafting and editing a comprehensive findings report (tables, visuals, executive summary, citations).
  • Deliverables & timelines: Align tasks with our attached project plan.

CIT-VR: PATH (new five-year initiative):

  • Project coordination: Attend meetings, take concise notes, and circulate summaries promptly.
  • Application processing: Help manage and track applications for pilot participation.
  • Web support: Assist with updates to our legacy and new websites (link checks, basic QA).
  • General support: Additional duties based on the student's skills and interests; we'll tailor responsibilities to maximize impact.

In addition, this position performs other related duties as assigned. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position.
Minimum Qualifications:

Qualified candidates will hold a high school diploma/GED plus 3 years of relevant professional experience, or, a Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant area of study. Degree must be conferred by the start date of the position. Degree requirements may be substituted with an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
