About the Role:

Step into a role where you become a central voice for innovation within Motorola Solutions. We are looking for a skilled storyteller and strategic communicator to connect our worldwide, 8,000-person Global Products Organization (GPO)-the engine behind the technology helping to keep communities, schools, hospitals, businesses and nations across the globe safer and more secure..

As the communications specialist for our GPO, you will drive the internal narrative that keeps our global team of technologists informed, engaged and inspired. This is your opportunity to make a significant impact by ensuring our innovators are aligned and celebrated. This position reports to the Director of Business Operations for the GPO.

What You'll Champion (Key Responsibilities):

  • Masterful Storytelling & Content Creation: Develop and execute a rich internal content strategy. You will write and edit a wide range of communications, from key executive presentations, messages and organizational announcements to engaging blog posts and newsletters that bring our GPO's strategy and culture to life.

  • Strategic Campaigns & Events: Lead communication planning for major internal initiatives, including our global hackathon, Global Months of Service and innovation awards. You will own the production and execution of our large-scale internal town halls, creating experiences that boost employee morale and connection.

  • Executive & Project Coordination: Support the CTO's internal communications, ensuring his key messages resonate with the GPO team. In close partnership with our corporate communications team, you will also help coordinate content for his external platforms (like LinkedIn, Mahesh the Geek podcast) and other thought leadership opportunities.

  • Communications Operations & Collaboration: Act as the central hub for GPO communications. You will lead weekly planning syncs, maintain our project roadmap, and partner seamlessly with teams like Corporate Communications, HR and Marketing to ensure message alignment and support for organization-wide initiatives.

What You'll Bring (Qualifications):

  • Exceptional Writing & Executive Communication: You have a portfolio that proves your expertise in storytelling, with an ability to translate complex ideas into clear, concise and inspiring content. You possess a polished executive presence and are skilled at advising and writing on behalf of senior leaders.

  • Strategic & Agile Project Management: You are adept at managing multiple high-stakes projects in a fast-paced environment. You can work under tight deadlines, pivot when needed and have a keen eye for improving processes to drive efficiency.

  • Influence & Collaboration: You are a natural relationship-builder who can navigate a complex, matrixed organization with ease. You know how to exert influence and gain support from various teams to achieve a common goal.

Data-Driven Mindset & Technical Skills: You use data and analytics to inform your strategies and demonstrate impact. Basic graphic design and video editing skills are a strong plus.

Target Base Salary Range:$80,000 USD - $90,000 USD

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.

Basic Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or marketing.

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
