Solution Architect Alexandria, VA Pay From $50 Per Hour MUST Solution Architect Active Secret , TS preferred Certification in one or more industry cloud certifications (AWS SA-Professional, AZ-305, VMware VCIX-NV, or OCI Architect Professional)- Preferred 8+ years of hands-on experience with the PeopleTools framework 8+ years of experience in ERP system development. Deep understanding of DoDI 5000.75 and Architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, Zachman, or DoDAF) Deep knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies spanning traditional waterfall and Agile frameworks, with hands-on experience in analysis, design, development, testing, and continuous delivery Ability to translate business requirements into robust and scalable technical solutions Preferred Experience with multiple ERP solutions (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Workday, or Microsoft Dynamics 365) Bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology, or related field. Master's preferred DUTIES Solutions Architect to Architect end-to-end Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions that integrete seamlessly with existing enterprise systems. Design scalable, secure architectures supporting current and future business capabilities. Create comprehensive documentation aligning with the Business Capability Acquisition Cycle (BCAC) phases. Improve system performance while maintaining data integrity and security compliance. Guide cross-functional teams through complex ERP implementations and upgrades. Establish architectural standards, patterns, and best practices for ERP system development. Provide strategic guidance on ERP integration to improve interoperability within the enterprise. Develop and maintain business capability roadmaps and integration plans. Find Innovative approaches to legacy system modernization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements. Document detailed functional specifications for new capabilities. Evaluate commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS), government-off-the-shelf (GOTS), and existing systems to determine feasibility and compatibility. Translate business needs into functional specifications for technology or process improvements converting business goals, challenges, and objectives into technical specifications. Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and support change management efforts. Identify and resolve complex technical issues that arise during development or production. Improve existing processes to reduce operational cost and improve user experience Identify opportunities to eliminate manual processes with automation.
