Job Summary:

The Senior Analyst, Managed Care Analytics, is a key member of the Market Access team, responsible for delivering data-driven insights and analytics that inform and drive access strategies and payer decisions. This role supports the development, implementation, and optimization of market access initiatives to support the company's product portfolio.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Performs data analyses and reporting to support the access and contracting strategy for Supernus products.
  • Leads report development for the Market Access team including corporate accounts payer team, patient services, access reimbursement, and market access leadership teams.
  • Develops and maintains analytics and reporting solutions to track the performance of access initiatives and payer engagement efforts.
  • Creation and management of reports tracking Market Access performance to identify potential opportunities or threats.
  • Serves as the primary analytics lead for the Market Access team.
  • Conducts analyses to identify payer coverage, contracting outcomes, and other key metrics to assess market access strategies.
  • Effectively communicates insights to Market Access and Commercial leadership teams to support decision making.
  • Remains current on market trends and payer dynamics to identify risks and opportunities for access strategies.
  • Other responsibilities and projects assigned.

Knowledge & Other Qualifications:



  • A bachelor's degree and a minimum of four years Commercial Pharmaceutical or analytics experience required.
  • Previous experience working within Market access or payer analytics preferred.
  • Experience with Pharmaceutical data sources such as with IQVIA, IMS Plantrak, DRG Fingertip Formulary, or MMIT formulary preferred.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with advanced data manipulation or statistical tools is a plus (e.g. SQL, SAS, R, Python).
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, interpret, and present financial models, dashboard, and analytic reports.
  • Ability to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner at all levels both verbally and in writing.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment/Travel Requirements:



  • Walking: Intermittent walking and moving from location to location.
  • Visual Acuity: to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer screen, iPad, or other electronic devices and for operating motor vehicles.
  • Travel: Must be willing and able to travel as needed.
  • Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately.


Compensation:

At Supernus, we offer a competitive compensation package that reflects your experiences and contributions. The expected salary range for fully qualified candidates applying for this role is $90,000 to $114,000. This range is what the Company reasonably expects to offer for the position and is not reflective of the full compensation scale of the role. This range may be modified in the future. An individual's salary within the range is based on multiple factors, which may include and are not limited to education, relevant experience, knowledge, length of industry experience and organizational needs.

Base salary is one part of the overall compensation package, which includes the opportunity to participate in employee stock purchase programs and performance-based bonus programs.
