What You Can Expect

As the Senior Accountant, you'll be expected to manage key financial processes and support strategic initiatives across the Renewables group. You'll work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment that may occasionally require flexibility beyond standard U.S. business hours. Your ability to plan ahead and collaborate across teams will be essential to ensuring smooth monthly and annual close cycles. You'll also contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and ad-hoc projects that may involve advanced accounting concepts. Here are your core responsibilities:

Handle monthly and annual close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and reporting.

Support accounting and reporting for Renewables department , including operating reports and cash management.

Coordinate with external auditors and prepare financial schedules and documentation.

Assist in developing processes, driving continuous improvement, and supporting budget and forecast preparation.

What You'll Bring



  • You must have a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • You must have at least three (3) years of public accounting experience.
  • You have hands-on experience with general ledger accounting and month-end close processes
  • You're skilled in variance analysis and financial reporting, including preparing financial statements and budgets
  • You can clearly communicate financial concepts to cross-functional teams using general terminology

Compensation

Salary Range: $90,405 - $120,540 USD annually

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
