Systems Engineer

Acara Solutions seeks a Systems Engineer for our client in Pittsfield, MA.

• As a Systems Engineer for Fleet Ballistic Missile Auxiliary and Training Systems, you'll be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing auxiliary and training systems that support the fleet ballistic missile program.
• Support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of auxiliary and training systems for fleet missile programs.
• Work hands-on with systems in lab environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple technical areas.
• Contribute to system lifecycle activities, including requirements, integration, and testing.

• Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering or Science or Engineering or Mathematics.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with systems in lab environments and collaboration across multiple technical disciplines.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in systems engineering lifecycle.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in networking and virtual machine management.

• Master's Degree.
• Agile experience.
• Proficiency in cyber hardening techniques.
• Strong background in general IT skills and systems integration.
• Clear understanding of systems engineering concepts, principles, theories, and technical standards.
• Clear understanding of requirements management and system modeling tools.
• Creative thinker with the ability to grasp and apply new information quickly and handle increasing responsibilities with growing complexity.
• Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others.
