About the Role
ELIXIR Strings is a leading brand in the music industry and go-to product for some of the best guitarists and bassists around the world. Part of Gore, global innovator in material science, ELIXIR Strings began 25 years ago as the innovator of the coated string. By protecting the string from dirt, debris, and corrosion, we enable musicians to retain their voice and trust that their instrument will sound it's best every time they pick it up. In this role you will be responsible to grow the North & Latin American markets together with our distribution partners and identify new growth opportunities. You are accountable for meeting or exceeding the sales forecast and you will interact with a global sales & marketing team and sales leadership.
This position will be based at our facility in Elkton,Maryland with the possibility of a hybrid work arrangement.
Pay and Benefits:
- $140,000 - $160,000 per year
- Roles above $150k are eligible for the variable pay program each fiscal year, based on defined business performance metrics.

Responsibilities
- Embody our "Why": To make tools that inspire musicians to create, express, and connect throughout their musical journey
- Market: Acquire in-depth market knowledge and utilize this knowledge to present to key decision makers and support creating a long-term strategy for the US and Latin American markets
- Relations: Establishing and maintaining beneficial relationships with key decision makers within partner & customer organizations
- Growth: Identify new growth opportunities and meet or exceed sales forecast
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Consistently interacting with internal marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure alignment of objectives, strategies, tactics, and resources
- Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvements, leveraging data & analytics to drive sales and market growth
- OEM: Maintain relationship with existing OEMs and find new OEM`s in line with our business strategy
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in music industry sales, preferably guitar accessories or guitar manufacturers
- Experience representing a global brand selling through ecommerce channels
- Clear understanding of retail operations and distribution business in USA, Canada and Latin America including trade economics and two-step product distribution
- Account-specific marketing and promotion development & execution experience. Relationship development and relationship management experience
- Data-driven decision-making approach with demonstrated experience using Excel to analyze sales history and uncover customer specific insight
- Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrated through effective cross-functional collaboration, managing expectations with external partners, and/or conflict resolution Proven ability to work with US based customer service and supply chain teams
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, Spanish and Portugese
- Ability to travel up to 70%, including internationally and must hold a valid driving license
