Overview

We are looking for an experienced Internal Auditor for our banking client on a project basis. This contract role is fully remote. This position will assist with the design and maintenance of a Quality Assurance and Improvement Program (QAIP) to enhance audit effectiveness and align with IIA standards.


Responsibilities

  • Assist with the development and implementation of Quality Assurance and Improvement Program
  • Perform internal quality assessments and coordinate external quality reviews for audit function.
  • Provide recommendations for continuous improvement and regulatory compliance
  • Prepare reports for senior management and regulators on audit findings and QAIP results

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, finance, or other related fields
  • 10+ years of relevant audit experience serving multiple Global Systemically Important Banks (GSIB)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required
  • Prior experience with internal audit banking methodologies and QAIP frameworks
  • Working knowledge of TeamMate, Archer, and Audit Board required
  • Qualified applicants must reside in the continental U.S.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
