What you will do The Training Manager (TM) will be responsible for implementing the training program and supporting the Senior Manager of Global Programs. The TM will oversee training initiatives within the Global Security Operations Centers (GSOC), working closely with staff and managers to drive improvements and ensure consistent compliance with operating standards and reporting requirements. Long-term goals include evaluating and refining training processes and materials. The TM will lead the Training Specialist to meet global training needs and provide coaching to staff to ensure the effective implementation of process improvements and changes. How you will do it
Implement the GSOC Training Plan and ensure full compliance with established standards. Provide guidance in identifying and developing effective training solutions that support the GSOC mission. Identify operational gaps and collaborate with managers and supervisors to assess training needs and determine appropriate approaches. Develop training policies, programs, and schedules based on identified needs, coordinating activities to minimize impact on operations. Select and apply suitable instructional methods, including individual training, group sessions, self-study, lectures, demonstrations, simulations, role-playing, and computer-based training. Maintain the mission essential task list and concurrent dependencies. Develop tabletop exercises and define metrics of success for exercise iterations. Create and maintain training materials, including manuals, reference guides, evaluation procedures, multimedia visual aids, and other educational resources. Deliver GSOC onboarding, initial certification, and ongoing training programs to ensure staff are fully prepared. Develop and update training curricula to support continuous staff improvement and performance. Collaborate with the management team on all training-related activities and initiatives. Support After Action Reports (AARs) following significant events, ensuring lessons learned are incorporated into future training. Stay informed on emerging technologies and integrate them into training programs to meet evolving company needs. Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the GSOC.
What we look for
Demonstrated experience in training and program management, with the ability to design, implement, and refine training initiatives. Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data, measure program effectiveness, and inform process improvements. A patient and effective coach who is committed to developing team members and supporting their growth. Knowledge of the physical security industry and its operational standards. Experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC/GSOC/Operations Center) or similar high-tempo operational environment. Strong communication skills, with the confidence to speak up, influence decisions, and collaborate across global teams. Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to evolving operational needs.
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $91,000-114,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, andabilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
