Our NanoAnalysis systems for electron microscopes are used in research and development that's keeping pharmaceutical products safe, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and increasing the reliability and power of the latest mobile devices.

We are seeking an Applications Specialist with expertise in Analytical Life Science Microscopy to provide world-class application support to our sales team, service team, OEM partners, and direct customers. This role is pivotal in delivering technical excellence and driving customer success in the EMEAI region.



Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and report on best-in-class demonstrations and application work for electron microscopy products and solutions, including sample preparation.
  • Create compelling marketing content such as application notes and blog posts focused on Life Science.
  • Organise and deliver workshops, webinars, and hands-on sessions for Life Science customers.
  • Conduct customer training and support joint meetings with internal teams.
  • Proactively visit and support customers, providing market feedback and insights for product development.
  • Assist in testing prototype products and contribute to usability analysis.
  • Maintain accurate activity logs and ensure a safe working environment.



Performance Indicators

  • Quality and quantity of customer-facing activities (trainings, demos, workshops, content creation).
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all organisational levels.
  • Proactive approach and adaptability to changing schedules and travel requirements.
  • Continuous learning and adoption of new technologies.



About You

Education & Experience:



  • Degree in Life Science or Pharmacy (essential).
  • Minimum 3 years of industrial experience.
  • MSc/PhD in electron microscopy (desirable).



Skills & Abilities:



  • Strong knowledge of Life Science and analytical techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with light/electron microscopes and related technologies (e.g., EDX spectroscopy).
  • Familiarity with spectroscopic methods (desirable).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills in English and German.
  • Organised, proactive, and comfortable working across international teams.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.
