Summary of Position

We are seeking an experienced, strategic leader to serve as Vice President of ASO Strategy and Sales. This role is responsible for developing and executing growth strategies with UnitedHealthcare/Optum and UMR partners. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in ASO strategy, sales management, and business development, with a proven record of driving revenue and achieving targets.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations for the ASO team.
  • Define partner priorities and implement go-to-market strategies to increase ASO penetration.
  • Create and manage operating calendars, partner plans, forecasts, and account mapping for review with sales leadership.
  • Develop programs and promotions to drive channel growth and revenue.
  • Ensure data sharing and integration with partners to demonstrate value and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Data Analytics to identify and maximize opportunities.
  • Partner with Marketing to create tailored sales tools and collateral.
  • Act as the primary liaison for Legal, Client Success, Finance, and other internal teams.
  • Consolidate reporting and provide recommendations based on data-driven analysis.
  • Serve as the link between Teladoc Health field sales and Optum/UHC commercial partners.
  • Gather and synthesize competitive intelligence from partners.
  • Anticipate partner needs and deliver short- and long-term solutions.
  • Monitor industry trends and apply insights to improve strategies.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of customer needs, market dynamics, and key players.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years in sales, ASO strategy, or business development.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing leadership to execute strategic direction.
  • Extensive healthcare industry knowledge and experience.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills across various settings.
  • Strong project and account management capabilities.
  • Critical thinking and analytical expertise.
  • Ability to build rapport and work effectively with high-performing sales teams.
  • Proven success in driving revenue growth and meeting sales targets.
  • Deep understanding of ASO principles and ability to execute effective strategies.
  • Self-starter with strong initiative and strategic thinking skills.
  • Results-driven with a focus on measurable business impact.
  • Adaptable to fast-paced, evolving environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Comfortable engaging with ELT/C-Suite executives.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.

The base salary range for this position is$100,000 - $160,000. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here: Teladoc Health Benefits 2026.Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications.This information is applicable for all full-time positions.
