Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Build best in class technical Platform and Infrastructure solutions on a hybrid Cloud to address requirements for scalability, reliability, security, and performance. * Work across geographically dispersed and integrated project teams to develop the strategy, architecture, roadmaps, design, and implementation of Cloud Platform & Infrastructure solutions. * Provide leadership, vision, and oversight across the engineering pillars to provide holistic end to end solutions. * Create a collaborative culture through robust communication, governance, and partnership with internal and external entities. * Implementing security controls and ensuring security and regulatory compliance in a modern, hybrid multi-cloud environment. * Design and implement an enterprise management program focused on a best-in-class solutions across the technology platforms for impact analysis, design, and resiliency reviews. * Design and Implement Hybrid multi-Cloud architecture. * Develop and manage Cloud Center of Excellence. * Defined architecture patterns for Private and Public cloud. * Preference for Cloud Native and Serverless architecture. * Container based architectures. * Hybrid environment to include general compute, network, and storage. * Highly available designs to support platforms with varying business RTO/RPO requirements. * Multi-service, inter-network, hybrid connectivity optimized for multiple LOB applications and data integration. * Deploy Infrastructure as Code automation capabilities (Terraform, ARM, Cloud Formation etc.). * Develop DevSecOps practice and onboarding program to accelerate application deployment. * Environment strategy - management, deployment, and configuration management. * Operational security and excellence programs (i.e.: logging and monitoring strategies). * Infrastructure training - Cloud training program, best practices, Infrastructure as Code, etc. * Lead and coordinate the work of an integrated project teams comprised of developers, subject matter experts, database administrators, system administrators, and system architects for program to implement and maintain enterprise-level information technology applications. * Accountable for the development, monitoring, and compliance to the relevant budget. * Drive optimal forecasting, capacity planning across the services areas for high availability, lifecycle management and disaster recovery planning (DRP). * Responsible for the quality and performance of the services provided from managed service providers. * Provides direction to the team to ensure the managed service partners have the necessary process, tools, and support to be successful. * Works with the operations teams, Managed Service Partners, and Vendor Management, as appropriate, to ensure the equipment and services adhere to our over-arching strategy, standards, and policies. * Partner with the Vendor Performance Management to provide input on ensuring that the relevant managed service provider(s) adheres to contractual and commercial obligations (e.g., ARCs, RRCs, SLA credits, etc.) * Document and communicate roadmaps, standards and business continuity planning as well as serve as the focal point for all technology and related matters. * Manage the budget responsibly for in-scope related services, as well as prioritization and recommendations of capital investments and adoption. * Ensure high quality and performance of the services provided from SaaS providers. * Sponsor engineering topics, related projects, and continuous transformation efforts. * Maintain professional knowledge of current trends and developments IT Infrastructure synergies across the technology pillars. | |
