Maintenance Electrical Engineer

Summary

Job Description:

Answers maintenance requests obtained via the Work Order Management System and/or
communication with hospital staff. Handles routine and emergency maintenance calls for complex
systems, and keeps routine watch over operating condition of HVAC, electric, plumbing and medicalsystems in the facility. Does routine maintenance according to scheduled preventive maintenanceprogram. This position places patient care and infection control standards as a top priority, followingand aligning all activities with these standards. The role may require working outside of regularlyscheduled shifts, in inclement weather, or in emergency situations. All roles within the Engineeringdepartment are required to adopt and utilize the CMMS work order system to effectively communicateacross the organization and manage activities and assets.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
At least five (5) years' experience in general maintenance or formal trade school equivalent
Valid driver's license with good driving record
Healthcare facility maintenance experience preferred
