Overview We are seeking a Stepdown Unit Registered Nurse, also referred to as our Cardiac Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN) or CCU RN. The Cardiac Nurse plays a critical role in attending to patients with heart conditions, cardiac issues, and associated illnesses, provide tailored care to enhance recovery and enhance quality of life. The Stepdown Unit RN merges skills from ICU and Med/Surg to accurately care for patients. Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):
Qualifications EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. Current and valid state RN License.
2. Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
3. Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.
4. Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
5. Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care preferred.
6. Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred.
7. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
