LOCATION OF (1) POSITION(S) TO BE FILLED: DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES, HR MANAGEMENT SERVICES DIVISION, DAVIDSON COUNTY Qualifications Education and Experience: Bachelors degree. Substitution of experience for education: Experience in Human Resources can substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis, to a maximum of four years. Overview A Compensation Consultant is employed by the Department of Human Resources (DOHR) and provides market research, equity analysis, and job architecture development to assist agencies in compensation planning. This is the working level classification in the Compensation Consultant series and is responsible for providing recommendations regarding position and employee actions, determining class compensation, and participating in salary surveys. This class differs from that of Senior Compensation Consultant in that an incumbent of the latter serves at the senior level and oversees enterprise-wide compensation projects. Responsibilities
