As a Security Officer - Media Site Access in Plainfield, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a dynamic tech and media environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will play a key role in maintaining a secure atmosphere, staying visible throughout the location, and supporting a culture of reliability, integrity, and teamwork that defines Allied Universal.

What You'll Do:

• Monitor and manage access control systems to help to deter unauthorized entry into technology and media facilities.
• Verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the location, following established procedures and site-specific policies.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors and employees with access-related inquiries and directions.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Document and report any irregularities, incidents, or security-related issues according to company and client requirements.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and client representatives to maintain a secure and orderly environment.
• Participate in emergency response activities as directed by site procedures or Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
