Here's what you'd do:

• Responsible for the identification and documentation of quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical systems.
• Facilitates the implementation of standards, methods, and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision, accuracy, and reliability of company products.
• Leads the preparation and execution of internal audits within established manufacturing and production controls to ensure compliance with internal and external specifications and standards.
• Liaises with auditing groups and inspectors to develop formal written reports and recommend corrective actions.
• Identifies trends in discrepancies and collaborates with process owners to refine and optimize business processes.
• Oversees testing department activities and the work of inspectors.
• Reviews, approves, and controls work order flow tags.
• Develops inspection techniques, tools, and supplemental inspection instructions in support of standards, methods, and procedures.
• Participates in supplier corrective and preventative actions, including customer escapes, process nonconformities, supplier corrective actions, customer and change control, and material review board meetings.
• Works under moderate supervision to set objectives for own job area.
• Communicates with contacts inside and outside the own team to explain and interpret operational processes, practices, and procedures
• Identifies and addresses changes within own job area.
• Works to achieve operational targets with some impact on departmental results.

Pay: $40.00 - $43.00 / hr.

Hours: 9/80 hrs/Week.

Length: Temp (12 months).

• High School Diploma or GED with 10 years of experience.
• Minimum 4 years of experience with CMM software Zeiss CALYPSO.

• Associate Degree with 6 years of experience.
• Good understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Knowledge of Keyence machines.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD models.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Close attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Interpretation of drawings.

• Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
• Able to sit for long periods of time.

• Successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD security clearance.
