Ardelyx is a publicly traded commercial biopharmaceutical company founded with a mission to discover, develop and commercialize innovative first-in-class medicines that meet significant unmet medical needs. Ardelyx has agreements for the development and commercialization of tenapanor outside of the U.S. Kyowa Kirin commercializes PHOZEVEL (tenapanor) for hyperphosphatemia in Japan. A New Drug Application for tenapanor for hyperphosphatemia has been approved in China with Fosun Pharma. Knight Therapeutics commercializes IBSRELA in Canada.

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic senior product/AD manager to join our dynamic team. This role will report to the Director of patient marketing and will support Direct-to-Patient initiatives in support of the US strategic and tactical plans of IBSRELA. This position requires a highly motivated individual who can effectively work in a fast-paced environment, has a solution-oriented mindset, and is able to execute. This role will be responsible for collaborating with multiple cross-functional stakeholders, including but not limited to HCP Marketing, Patient Advocacy, Market Access, Market Research, Sales, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, Commercial Operations, Legal, and Commercial leadership. Responsibilities:

  • Lead the creation and implementation of various innovative direct-to-patient marketing strategies and tactics across marketing channels (print, digital, SEO/SEM, point of care, social media, broadcast, video)
  • Develop and deliver informative patient-friendly education and other DTP initiatives based on customer needs
  • Assist with the development and assessment of key brand goals or brand performance metrics
  • Manage multiple external agencies including advertising and media agencies, and internal cross-functional partners
  • Support key branded and unbranded non-personal promotion initiatives like CRM, website management, and data and measurement planning
  • Effectively manage budget and ensure all marketing programs and campaigns support overall brand strategy
  • Develop and maintain positive and collaborative working relationships with a broad range of internal stakeholders to ensure success of cross-functional initiatives and long-range plans
  • Ensure that regulatory and compliance guidelines are always followed. Must be adept at navigating the Medical, Legal and Regulatory process
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree, MBA a plus, with 8 - 10 years of experience Marketing within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry. or equivalent experience
  • Gastroenterology experience a plus
  • Working knowledge of Veeva Vault
  • Combination of strong strategic thinking with ability to execute tactical plans
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to drive projects independently and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to craft and deliver compelling narratives
  • Proven success in working collaboratively across the business to design and execute solutions to complex challenges preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with track record of successfully managing multiple complex projects concurrently, maintaining a high level of productivity, innovation, and priority-setting
  • Proven track record for consistently meeting or exceeding goals and objectives
The anticipated annualized base pay range for this full-time position is $183,000-$210,000. Ardelyx utilizes industry data to ensure that our compensation is competitive and aligned with our industry peers. Actual base pay will be determined based on a variety of factors, including years of relevant experience, training, qualifications, and internal equity. The compensation package may also include an annual bonus target and equity awards, subject to eligibility and other requirements.
