Job Summary
We are seeking a Manager of Consolidations to join our team at CDW and be part of a dynamic and forward-thinking Finance organization that values innovation and continuous growth. In this role, you will oversee the consolidation of financial statements for our global operations and work with teams across finance and the greater organization. You will drive continuous improvement to promote the integrity of processes and overall efficiency, while collaborating with various stakeholders across the organization to help facilitate intercompany transactions and tackle complex consolidation matters. This role will provide leadership, direction, coaching and development to the team.

What you will do:

  • Manage the consolidation of financial statements for the company's multiple business units and subsidiaries, ensuring accurate and timely reporting in compliance with GAAP.
  • Oversee the process of intercompany eliminations and the reconciliation of intercompany balances across various entities within the organization.
  • Collaborate with business partners to facilitate new intercompany transactions that allow sellers to reach new customers and markets
  • Identify and implement improvements to the consolidation process to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and maintain accuracy.
  • Oversee team of coworkers, including performance management and coaching & development.
  • Manage team task delegation and prioritization to meet deadlines during the monthly close process
  • Collaborate within and across departments, including groups across the Finance organization and the Organization at large.
  • Maintain effective system of internal accounting controls in support of SOX compliance across Workday, Blackline reconciliations, and acquisitions.
  • Drive consolidation/intercompany areas of new system implementation projects including the consolidation of acquisitions into existing CDW architecture.
  • Participate in cross-functional special projects, as needed.

What we expect of you:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with 5+ years of relevant finance and/or accounting experience and at least 1 year of leadership experience.
  • CPA is preferred
  • Experience working with large, public entities is preferred
  • Ownership and accountability of self and team delivering on commitments and results.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  • Ability to influence without authority and effectively and efficiently engage with cross functional teams leading to best outcomes for the company.
  • Strong capabilities around talent management, including talent development and optimization.
  • Business and financial acumen, with ability to understand the business transactions and financial implications of those transactions leading to better financial insights.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting and finance principles and practices with the ability to apply them in a business analysis situation.
  • Strong data and analytics capabilities, leveraging large data sets and driving insights and trends to understand financial results.
  • Process improvement and innovation mindset with ability to scope a problem, develop solutions, and drive the execution of the solution, with new and innovative tools.
  • Approaches each day with critical thinking and continuously challenging how we are executing with ability to evaluate new ways of working.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office applications with strong experience in Excel.
  • Experience in Workday, preferred.

Payrange: $111,000- $ 154,200depending on experience and skill set
Annual bonus target of10%subject to terms and conditions of plan
