Scope:

Provide application development and support functions for various business and technical 3rdparty and in-house developed application. This includes the configuration and integration of rules, attributes, interfaces, user and permissions and development of the modules associated with this application package, including but not limited to customer specifications, traveler generation, CAM instructions, penalization, stack up and impedance modeling.

Duties:

  • Review, implement and document manufacturing and process engineering requirements.

  • Provide Software development support to Pre-Production Engineering.

  • Communicate with software provider to drive improvements and solve problems with the application.

  • Continually improve the quality, workflow, and throughput of the tooling and data distribution processes. Work directly with tooling groups, engineering groups, vendors, etc. to identify improvements and to implement new changes.

  • Actively ensure that all business objectives are met in the areas of quality, productivity, cost, delivery and capacity.

  • Provide assistance and leadership with integration of new systems and software(s), including the implementation of new SW revisions into the production environment.

  • Evaluate software and hardware requirements for Inplan and associated applications.

  • Exercise judgment and sense of urgency in reacting to constantly changing business needs and daily unplanned demand.

  • Continuous improvement -Actively drive process improvement activities and emphasizes training and documentation to improve overall process flow and quality.

  • Represent the Tooling Engineering / technician department at various management levels and forums

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

  • Experience with interconnect CAM tooling processes and methodologies

  • Experience with Pre-Production Engineering process and methodologies

  • Experience and knowledge with C++, Python, Perl, and SQL databases

  • UNIX / LINUX / Windows OS operating environment

  • Demonstrated driven team player

  • Familiar with Frontline Genesis and Inplan Database

  • Familiar with process and material on PCB manufacturing

  • Visual Studio & ASP.Net

Education and Experience:

Education:Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in a field of science or engineering

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that my be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.
