Position Highlights

Limited Term Adjunct Lecturer to teach traditional courses in the Agricultural Education, Technology & Innovation (AETI) program. This is a 6-month, part-time (< 0.49 FTE) appointment (non-tenure-eligible). This position is central to the teaching mission of AETI and involves teaching courses during the Spring 2026 semester within the state of Arizona.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Teach AGTM 375- Legal Issues in Agriculture, a 3-credit lecture class, in-person in the Spring 2026 term.
  • Course topics include legal issues affecting agriculture, including water, legislation, immigration, business entities and real estate.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

  • Knowledge of basic principle of Agriculture Education.
  • Skills in Project Management and Leadership.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and creative problem solving and multi-tasking.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Master's Degree or higher in Agricultural Sciences or a closely related field or a Juris Doctor (JD) with relevant expertise in agricultural law, policy, or compliance.

As a campus with residential housing facilities, the Main Campus ASR also includes a combined Annual Fire Safety report with information on fire statistics and fire safety systems, policies, and procedures.
