Location: 309 Main St. Irwin, PA 15642 or 491 North Cleveland-Massillon Road Akron, OH 44333 or 3345 Market Street Camp Hill, PA 17011 or 800 Philadelphia Street Indiana, PA 15701 or 7660 Saltsburg Rd Pittsburgh, PA 15239 or 2 North Church Street West Chester, PA 19380 or 358 N Shore Drive Pittsburg, PA 15212 Hours: Monday - Friday: 8AM-5PM (Additional hours as necessary to meet the objectives of the department) Function: The Staff Appraiser will assist the Chief and Senior Appraiser to support the commercial and business banking loan origination and Managed Assets portfolio management processes by ensuring that risk appropriate real estate valuation standards are established and adhered to. The Staff Appraiser is also responsible for protecting the Bank by ensuring compliance with ethical, legal and regulatory requirements as they relate to real estate collateral valuation in accordance with state and federal regulations and USPAP Standards. Duties and Responsibilities:
Education: Requires a 4-year degree or equivalent, major area of specialization: Real Estate. Appraisal Institute Candidate (MAI) preferred. Experience: Requires five to ten years of general experience, plus two to five years of specialized experience as a Licensed Appraiser Trainee. Physical Demands: Operates a keypad device: 60% of the day; operates electronic equipment: 10% of the day; operates office equipment: 5% of the day; travels: 5% of the day; performing on-site inspections/evaluations: 10%. Requires the use of manual dexterity skills for typing and filing up to 60% of the business day. Specific vision requirements include close vision of 18"-20" for computer work.
