Find your calling at Mercy! Works closely and efficiently with other Radiology staff, OR staff, Surgeons, and Interventional Radiologists in performing a wide range of Interventional procedures. Performs related duties as assigned. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards. Position Details: Minimum Qualifications Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours. Experience: 1+ years of relevant experience OR graduate of Bachelor's degree program. License(s): State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice. If practicing in Arkansas, a Radiologic Technologist License is required. Certification(s): ARRT registry. A RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) may be accepted in lieu of an ARRT if deemed appropriate by facility leadership. Skills, Knowledge, Abilities:* Skills: * Effective communication. * Proficient in the use of: Digital Angiography Equipment, Interventional equipment, PACS, Computers. Abilities: * Stand for up to six hours with protective gear (lead apron, mask, gown, glasses, gloves). * Manipulating Angiography equipment, including mobile and other equipment. * Lifting, moving, and transporting patients. * Continual standing and walking. * Proficiency in manipulating Angiography equipment, including mobile and other equipment. * Evaluate and process digital images. * Able to recognize emergency situations. * Ability to adapt to stressful situations.
