What to Expect Tesla is seeking a Quality Systems Engineering Technician toassistin developing and implementing quality systems. This position will involveidentifyinginefficiencies across the business andberesponsible forimplementationof technical solutions by working closely with the Technical Program Manager. Your changes will haveimpacton the way people work. To be successful in your role, business stakeholders should be able to trust yourexpertise forsuggestingquantifiable solutions that will persist long after you move on to your next initiative. What You'll Do Help drive cross-functional programs to implement changes in compliancetothe Quality Management System Collaborate closely with the cross-functional teams to define functional and timeline requirements and collaborate with other sites/teams to drive towards common solutions which will become Tesla's "best practices" Be able to manage multiple action items across all departments and systems while managing stakeholder expectations and generating consensus on changes Ensure all elements of solution delivery are planned and accounted for: business analysis, technical design, development & validation, organizational change management, training, documentation, and more Proactivelyidentifyimprovement opportunities (potential gaps between processes and systems) across all quality systems functions, developing tools that allow for visibility into process bottlenecks and inconsistencies Perform training to various functions on new roll outs and functionality changes andparticipatein internal auditing tomonitorprogress towards goals Business point of contact for users for day-to-day queries and adoption andmonitorhealth of system and data quality What You'll Bring Bachelor's in Physical Sciences Discipline, or equivalent experience Engineering background or evidence of exceptional experience in related fields: (1) Business Process Analysis, (2) Process and Procedural Design andminimum of 3yearsexperiencein a manufacturing and/or Quality System role Prefererknowledge of ISO 9001 Quality System Experienceas a Lead Auditor, team player, collaborator across diverse functional groups, and high attention to details Strongverbal and written communication skills to manage and communicate the health and integrity of the data and systems and must have command of the English language, both written and verbal Ability to drive actionable, pragmatic solutions to ensure project completion,demonstrated track recordof taking initiatives anddeliveringresults, comfortable with making decisions with incomplete information, andadaptabilityand willingness to learn and grow Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal Compensation and Benefits Benefits Along with competitive pay, as a full-time Tesla employee, you are eligible for the following benefits at day 1 of hire: Aetna PPO and HSA plans > 2 medical plan options with $0 payroll deduction Family-building, fertility, adoption and surrogacy benefits Dental (including orthodontic coverage) and vision plans, both have options with a $0 paycheck contribution Company Paid (Health Savings Account) HSA Contribution when enrolled in the High Deductible Aetna medical plan with HSA Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) 401(k) with employer match, Employee Stock Purchase Plans, and other financial benefits Company paid Basic Life, AD&D, short-term and long-term disability insurance Employee Assistance Program Sick and Vacation time (Flex time for salary positions), and Paid Holidays Back-up childcare and parenting support resources Voluntary benefits to include: critical illness, hospital indemnity, accident insurance, theft & legal services, and pet insurance Weight Loss and Tobacco Cessation Programs Tesla Babies program Commuter benefits Employee discounts and perks program Expected Compensation $27.45 - $46.56/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
