Responsibilities

Position Summary:

The Manager of Revenue Analysis and Reporting is a pivotal role that combines technical accounting expertise with management responsibilities. This position not only oversees traditional revenue accounting tasks-such as monthly and quarterly accounting close activities , revenue analysis , contract reviews , and preparation of revenue schedules for auditors and executives-but also collaborates closely with C-Suite leaders , Sales, Billing, Collections, Operations, Accounting, and Finance teams. The Manager serves as a key liaison between the Revenue Cycle and IT , driving the development of Revenue Reporting and Analytics. The role requires ensuring compliance with revenue recognition policies , enhancing operational efficiency , and aligning practices with the organization's strategic goals.

Key Performance Responsibilities:
  • Revenue Recognition Management: Ensure that revenue is recognized in accordance with company policies, compliance with EIV policies, and adherence to the Revenue Standard (ASC 606) under US GAAP.
  • Accounting Close Activities: Oversee and complete accounting close activities, including the preparation, review, and analysis of revenue and accounts receivable reporting and reconciliation.
  • Contract Review: Review significant revenue contracts and revenue recognition packages to ensure proper allocation and recognition of revenues, along with appropriate documentation of accounting conclusions.
  • Revenue Reporting Development: Lead the development of all revenue reporting from the Lightning Step system to support the organization's revenue allocations, recognition, and Revenue Cycle operations, including all revenue-related KPIs.
  • Ad Hoc Reporting and Analysis: Manage ad hoc reporting analysis and projects, including speed bump analysis, receivable waterfall, mid-month and month-end revenue reporting, and projections at regional, provider, and plan levels.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Billing, Credit & Collections, Operations, and Finance to provide recommendations and guidance on revenue recognition for complex transactions.
  • Operational Support: Participate in Monthly Operations financial meetings, providing revenue support and recommendations to the Operational leadership team.
  • Team Management: Hire, manage, and train a team of Revenue Analysts.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree: (four-year college or technical school) required with a major in accounting, finance, business administration, or a similar field.
  • Prior Experience: Experience with revenue recognition under ASC 606 required (experience within the healthcare industry is a plus).
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and other relevant software.
