Art Department Student Workers complete a variety of tasks related to studio, collection, and office maintenance.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
-
- Assist with studio maintenance for safety and cleanliness - Assist with displaying and preserving of art across campus - Assist with office maintenance and management of department systems including locker check outs, marketing material prep, and other essential systems - Assist with large projects as directed by the Gallery Curator and Department Chair - Must be able to push or lift up to 50 lbs. - Position requires frequent bending, stretching, and lifting -Ability to sit, walk, and stand up to 4 hours - Ability to use Microsoft Office products - Ability to use office equipment (fax, copier, etc)

Required Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent - Background Check - Completion of New Employee Training - Must be currently enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for Fall/Spring semester - Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above (if first semester student, GPA requirement is waived) - If student qualifies for Federal Work Study, the student will be hired as a Federal Work Study employee to utilize these funds
