As a Security Officer - Telecom Facility Patrols in Whitsett, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will remain visible throughout your shift, provide outstanding customer service, and use your communication skills to support a positive experience for everyone onsite. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any security-related irregularities or incidents according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Assist with access control, monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to the premises.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences encountered during patrols.
• Collaborate with onsite personnel and/or law enforcement as necessary to address security-related matters and emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
