Job Title: DevOps Engineer 3.
Location: Austin, TX.

Description of Services:

  • Client requires the services of DevOps Engineer 3, hereafter referred to as Candidate(s), who meets the general qualifications of DevOps Engineer 3, Applications/Software Development and the specifications outlined in this document for the Client.
  • All work products resulting from the project shall be considered "works made for hire" and are the property of the Client and may include pre-selection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Candidates) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by Texas law.
  • Works with IT developers to facilitate better coordination among operations, development, and testing functions by automating and streamlining integration and deployment processes. DevOps aims at coupling a tighter alignment between IT operations and businesses.
  • Skilled DevOps Engineer to design and implement cloud-native solutions on AWS, enabling scalable, secure, and automated application delivery. This role will focus on building robust CI/CD pipelines, automation, and operational excellence for modern cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement cloud-native architectures leveraging AWS services.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments and testing.
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions to ensure system reliability.
  • Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to optimize workflows and enforce best practices.
  • Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual effort and improve system scalability.
Candidate Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
  • 8 Years required: Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, VPC).
  • 8 Years required: Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline).
  • 8 Years required: Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation).
  • 8 Years required: Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • 8 Years required: Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK stack).
  • 8 Years required: Familiarity with Linux administration, scripting (Python, Bash), and version control (Git).
  • 8 Years preferred: Knowledge of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
  • 8 Years preferred: Familiarity with performance tuning and high-availability strategies.
  • 8 Years preferred: Experience with serverless architecture and event-driven workflows.
