Job Title: ServiceNow SPM Developer Location(s): Vienna, VA (Remote) Role Overview We are seeking a senior-level ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) and Performance Analytics (PA) SME to support a large-scale Phase II SPM initiative, with a strong emphasis on Demand Management, Strategic Portfolio Management, SPW, and Capacity Management. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep ServiceNow platform expertise and the ability to partner closely with business and technology stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring both hands-on configuration expertise and consultative SPM process leadership, helping the organization assess its current state, define future-state goals, identify dependencies, and develop a pragmatic SPM roadmap. Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the ServiceNow SPM and PA/Reporting subject matter expert for a large enterprise initiative.
- Lead and support Strategic Portfolio Management Phase II, including SPW and Capacity Management.
- Partner with stakeholders to:
- Understand current SPM maturity and operating model.
- Define goals, priorities, and dependencies.
- Build and evolve the organization's SPM roadmap.
- Design and configure ServiceNow dashboards, reports, and performance analytics to support executive decision-making.
- Configure and enhance ServiceNow platform capabilities, including:
- Workflows.
- IntegrationHub.
- Portals and dashboards.
- Act as a trusted advisor on SPM processes, governance, and best practices.
- Navigate complex stakeholder dynamics; apply strong communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Support substantial client interaction and executive-level discussions.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Strategic Portfolio Management, including Demand Management and Capacity Management.
- 4+ years of experience designing and configuring solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
- Strong expertise in:
- ServiceNow Performance Analytics (PA).
- Reporting and dashboards.
- Workflow configuration.
- Proven ability to operate as a strategic thinker and process specialist, not just a technical configurator.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated client-facing experience.
- Strong soft skills, including stakeholder management and conflict resolution.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience with the ServiceNow SPM module.
- Prior involvement in large, enterprise-scale ServiceNow or SPM transformation initiatives.
