Be part of an amazing story. Macy's is more than just a store. We're a story. One that's captured the hearts and minds of America for more than 160 years. A story about innovations and traditions...about inspiring stores and irresistible products...about the excitement of the Macy's 4th of July Fireworks, and the wonder of the Thanksgiving Day Parade. We've been part of memorable moments and milestones for countless customers and colleagues. Those stories are part of what makes this such a special place to work. Job Overview The Credit Finance Analyst supports the Sr. Manager, Credit Finance, in achieving department goals by planning and executing key initiatives and validating assumptions. The role regularly partners with operations teams to ensure alignment on expense forecast assumptions. As Macy's moves toward a more automated environment using Anaplan, BI dashboards, and other technological tools, the Credit Finance Analyst focuses on analytical responsibilities rather than process-oriented tasks. The role also owns the distribution of sales and orders reporting, a critical component of overall operational expense planning. What You Will Do
Skills You Will Need Analytical & Financial Acumen - Strong ability to analyze forecasts, assumptions, and variances; prepares accurate digital forecasts, monthly expense outlooks, and other financial reports. Technical Proficiency - Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with Anaplan, OneStream, and BI dashboards preferred for automated financial analysis. Reporting & Data Management - Experience creating, distributing, and maintaining operational and sales/order reports; tracks changes in assumptions and month-over-month variances accurately. Communication & Collaboration - Excellent verbal and written communication; able to create slides for meetings and collaborate with operations teams effectively. Organization & Attention to Detail - Highly organized to manage multiple priorities, changing assumptions, and reporting deadlines with precision. Adaptability & Independence - Ability to handle shifting priorities and deadlines; capable of working independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision. Operational Support & Leadership - Ability to lead key reporting initiatives (e.g., MCCS Operational FTE reporting) and serve as backup for critical close-week priorities. Who You Are
