The Quality Engineering Intern will provide engineering support to the Quality Engineering department. This individual will perform various tasks as directed by Quality Engineers.

Position Responsibilities:

* Conduct AS9102 FAI including interpretation of Technical Data Package (TDP) with drawings, parts lists, Engineering Changes (EC), variances.

* Conduct MRB, dispositions and process nonconforming material.

* Create templates and reports for customer data requirements.

* Establish automated reporting and templates for various data.

* Document and track Return Material Authorization (RMA) material from customers.

* Creates necessary documentation and/or presentations to communicate with internal and external customers.

* Executes processes and ensures projects operate in accordance with documents AS9100 QMS and Quality Assurance related Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

* Support QAM with creating, improving, maintaining, and SOPs compliant to the QMS.

* Executes all duties in an ethical and professional manner.

* Perform other duties as assigned to drive the vision, fulfill the mission, and abide by the value of this organization.

Skills & Abilities:

* Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Windows

* Strong problem-solving skills

* Ability to work independently; a 'self-starter' that requires little supervision once given a task.

* Possess good organizational and communication skills, enabling the candidate to work within and between integrated teams and perform a variety of tasks in a dynamic team environment.

* Possess the technical experience and background to troubleshoot and resolve issues within the development, test, and production environments as needed.

Qualifications:

* Currently enrolled as a rising junior or senior in a 4 year college or university working towards a major in Engineering.

* US citizen due to government contract requirements.

Work Environment:

* Office Environment: Requires physical capability to work in an office environment including sit/stand up to 9 hours a day and use basic office tools such as a computer, copier/printer, etc. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

* Hours: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM Monday - Thursday; every other Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

* 9/80 work schedule.

* Office located in Lititz, PA.
