Care Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IMS Core Network Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our engineering staff, you will be responsible for the successful integration, deployment, and ongoing operation of our IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) solutions within cellular core networks. This role requires deep technical expertise in IMS components and a strong background in Lawful Interception (LI) implementation. You will be the technical lead for customer-facing projects, bridging the gap between our product line and live network environments, and providing crucial support during emergency situations.

• Customer and Product Line Collaboration:
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for customer network teams, understanding their architecture, requirements, and deployment constraints.
  • Interface closely with the Product Line Management teams to provide critical field feedback and ensure smooth integration of new features and products.
• Network Integration and Deployment:
  • Plan, configure, and execute the integration of new and upgraded IMS core elements into existing live cellular networks (4G/5G).
  • Specific focus on hands-on deployment and configuration of key IMS components:
    • NTAS
    • CFX
    • SBC
• Troubleshooting and Emergency Support:
  • Perform advanced level troubleshooting and defect resolution for complex, multi-vendor IMS and core network issues, utilizing diagnostic tools and protocol analyzers (e.g., Wireshark).
  • Analyze call flows and signaling protocols (SIP, Diameter) to rapidly isolate and resolve service-impacting failures.
  • Provide critical support in emergency cases, working quickly and effectively under pressure to restore service and minimize network downtime.
• Lawful Interception (LI) Expertise:
  • Implement and verify Lawful Interception solutions across the IMS infrastructure.
  • Possess a strong understanding of relevant LI standards and interfaces.
    

Must have

• Minimum 5 years of experience working as a Core Network Engineer in a mobile/cellular operator or telecom vendor environment.
• MANDATORY: Fluency in both spoken and written Hebrew. This is essential for effective communication with local customers and partners.
• Israeli government high classification is mandatory for the job (will be an advantage if already exists )
• Deep, hands-on experience with the IMS architecture and its core elements: NTAS, CFX, and SBC.
• Proven experience in Lawful Interception (LI) system configuration, testing, and integration within the cellular core.
• Solid understanding of cloud-native and virtualized network functions (VNF/CNF) deployment.
• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Good knowledge of IP Networking.
• Familiarity with various operating systems (Linux, Unix).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (in addition to the mandatory Hebrew).
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
