Primary Purpose
Assists with special projects and general operations of the assigned area, to gain business knowledge and prepare for a future career at Parkland Health Minimum Specifications Education - Must be enrolled in a related undergraduate degree program at an accredited university, with a minimum of 90 credit hours; or - Must be enrolled in a related graduate degree program at an accredited university. - Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA Experience- None. Equivalent Education and/or Experience -None. Certification/Registration/Licensure - None. Skills or Special Abilities - Ability to work well within a team, building effective relationships with colleagues, patients, and staff in a healthcare setting and provide excellent customer service. - Strong verbal and written communication to convey information clearly and effectively in meetings, documentation, and reports - Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain organization in both administrative duties and event planning. - Ability to analyze processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose solutions for improved workflow and efficiency. Responsibilities - Assist in collecting, managing, organizing, and entering data into spreadsheets or databases with accuracy and attention to detail. - Generate charts and graphs to visually represent data findings for presentations and team reports summarizing key metrics supporting decision making processes. - Plan and allocate time efficiently to meet project deadlines and milestones, demonstrating the ability to balance various responsibilities within the internship. - Help coordinate team activities, schedules, and resources to support smooth project execution, utilizing strong organizational skills to keep tasks on track. - Assist in planning and organizing events, such as team meetings, workshops, or recognition ceremonies, by coordinating logistics, preparing materials, and ensuring everything is ready for the event. - Demonstrate empathy in resolving minor conflicts or addressing patient needs, ensuring a patient-centered approach to care. | |
