Summary of Job Duties:The woodwind instructor will provide private applied lessons on clarinet and saxophone for ASMSA students to bolster fundamental abilities, work on audition preparation, and work on selected works from solo and chamber literature. There is flexibility for scheduling based on the instructor's availability. Lessons are 45 to 55 minutes in duration once per week; syllabus and semester guidelines and performance calendar, including Studio Recital and Performance Jury dates. Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in music with a concentration in clarinet and/or saxophone as the primary instrument is required; a master's degree in performance is preferred. Experience teaching secondary-level or university students is required. Must be able to demonstrate clear ability and proficiency on both single-reed instruments
