The Logistics Supervisor oversees dispatch operations supporting CNG delivery by supervising dispatchers, coordinating logistics planning, and providing operational backup to the field. This role ensures efficient scheduling, training compliance, and collaboration with internal and external partners to support safe and reliable logistics operations.

Detailed Description

The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for supervising and supporting a team of dispatchers while coordinating daily and long-term logistics planning activities. This role works closely with supervisors, SDMs, and third-party partners to ensure driver availability, load execution, and accurate documentation. The supervisor also monitors dispatcher schedules, training requirements, and system configurations to ensure smooth logistics operations. You may be assigned additional duties as business needs require.

Key Responsibility:

  • Create and distribute 5-day logistics look-ahead plans

  • Coordinate with supervisors and SDMs to ensure driver availability

  • Partner with Nexmile to execute and document loads

  • Maintain scheduling spreadsheets and long-term logistics plans

  • Update turn times and mileage data in Resource Planner

  • Supervise and support dispatchers, including managing dispatcher schedules

  • Maintain EOS job configurations, routes, and schedules

  • Monitor training levels and administer training as needed

  • Provide operational backup and field support

Job Requirements

Language Comprehension

  • Must understand, speak, read, and write English at a level sufficient to issue, receive, and respond to safety- and operations-related directions

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 3+ years of experience in sand coordination, trucking, or transloading

Additional Details

  • Medium work requiring exertion of up to 50 pounds occasionally, 20 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly

  • Shifts over 8 hours are typical

  • Work is performed in both indoor and outdoor environments
