AgraForm LLC is one of the leading agrochemical contract manufacturing companies in the U.S. and is centrally located in St. Louis, MO. We provide high-quality bulk formulation, agri-chemical processing, spray drying, milling, packaging, and storage services for chemical manufacturers. We utilize state-of-the-art equipment at our facility and are known for our attention to quality and service. PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT Schedules and troubleshoots equipment maintenance and repairs in response to requests from staff and leadership. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Performs maintenance and repairs of various pumps, motors, pipes, bearings, and seals. Troubleshoots equipment in the event of a breakdown to provide quick start up after failure. Supports on-going plant project, including installation of new equipment and refurbishing of existing equipment. This also includes design and modifications to existing equipment. Collaborates with Operations to minimize downtime and maximize plant reliability. OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS Follows GROWMARK's Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply. Performs all other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS Normally requires an associate degree in general maintenance or a related field and 5 years or more of related work experience. Demonstrates essential abilities including installation and repair of mechanical systems (pumps, seals, and bearings), and ability to use hand tools, power tools, and installation equipment. Must be able to read and understand Industrial Machinery and Equipment manuals, follow schematic diagrams and other specifications. Must have knowledge of fit up and fabrication. Preferred welding experience or willingness to learn skills. Familiar with 480 Volt 3-phase, 220/110 single phase and low voltage. Must have a basic understanding of MCCs, motor starters, and motor connections. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record. Frequently exposed or required to: * Extreme weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, etc.) * Noisy conditions * Working conditions may include dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards with appropriate safety measures * May be required to work at varying heights * Confined spaces * Lift 51-70 pounds * Required to push heavy objects Ability to work extended hours. Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK's policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
