The Role

Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a Distribution Specialistto work out of its state-of-the-art facility in Sidney, NY.

The key responsibilities of thisDistribution Specialist include, but are not limited to:



  • Provide analysis on projects to optimize channel network, pricing and competitive advantage decisions as it applies to distribution
  • Assist in generating monthly sales pipeline to support orders budget
  • Provide monthly reports and analysis on POS, inventory and bookings
  • Generate quarterly product profiles across multiple products to support proper inventory alignment
  • Prepare data and analysis to support quarterly business reviews with channel partners
  • Prepare distribution related content for Amphenol Operations reviews, budget and strategic meetings
  • Develop relationships with Amphenol Regional Distribution Sales Managers and distribution partners through training & visits
  • Participate in internal Amphenol distribution meetings
  • Coordinate distribution training materials, programs and systems
  • Contractual return administration and discrepancy resolution
  • Navigate Service Requests with the engineering team

Salary: $62,354 - $67,000

The Person

The key skills and qualities of aDistribution Specialist at Amphenol Aerospace Operations:



  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to develop a working knowledge of the Amphenol Distribution network
  • Proficiency in AS400 system tools, Microsoft Office, and data analysis
  • Prolonged periods of sitting, typing, and computer usage
  • Ability to travel (10%)
