Neurology Technician

Spectrum Healthcare Resources (SHR) has an excellent opportunity for a Neurology Technician at Nellis Air Force Base in Nellis, Nevada.

Position Requirements:

• Must have a current Electro-Neuro diagnostic technologist certificate from an accredited program Education:
• Active BLS certification
• Neurology Specific registration is required. R.E.E.G.T, R.NCS.T is highly desired
• 2 years of experience performing electroencephalograms and nerve conduction studies in a patient care setting with scoring within the past 36 months required

Position Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and provide age specific care in the treatment, assessment and education of neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
• Performs test and accurately transcribes and prepares data for physician interpretations.
• Accurately prepares room and patient for examinations, therapeutic measures and procedures assuring all needed equipment and supplies are available prior to the start of the exam
• Performs or assists with the performance of specialized testing (EEG and NCS) and examinations
