Behavioral Support Coordinator (BCBA, BCaBA, or DHS Level 2)

Location: Macomb, IL

(Serving Macomb and surrounding communities: Canton, Galesburg, and Quincy)

Model: Consultation & Preventive Support (No On-Call / No Crisis Response).

Why Join Mosaic?

We know the current landscape for BCBAs can be exhausting. Many agencies prioritize high billable hours over clinician well-being. At Mosaic, we do things differently. We offer a consultation-based model that focuses on role-modeling and preventative strategies rather than constant crisis intervention. The consultation-based model includes

  • Observing individuals in their natural environments (homes/service settings).
  • Coaching and role-modeling ABA strategies for direct care staff.
  • Analyzing data to adjust support plans proactively before challenges escalate.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team (Psychiatry, SLP, etc.).

Your Impactful Role

  • Program Development: Create and implement behavioral support programs that reduce challenging behaviors and empower individuals to pursue their goals.
  • Clinical Oversight: Conduct ongoing behavior analysis through observations, data reviews, and interviews.
  • Staff Mentorship: Develop competency-based training programs and provide "in-the-moment" coaching and role-modeling in residential and service settings.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Maintain active communication with the individual's support team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and speech pathologists.
  • Compliance: Ensure all programs meet regulatory requirements and maintain detailed, accurate case notes and records.

Schedule: Generally Day Hours Monday-Friday/Hour May Vary Based On Needs Of Individuals In Service.

Commitment to Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Belonging:

At Mosaic, we believe in creating a workplace where everyone has the chance to contribute and succeed. This commitment is not just a policy, it's the way we work. It's good for the workforce, it's good for Mosaic, and it's the right thing to do.
