Summary:

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Fellow will provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients in a variety clinical setting as a part of a collaborative care team under the supervision of experienced providers. The Fellow will assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of acute and chronic conditions while gaining knowledge, advanced clinical skills, and autonomy in a structured, multidisciplinary training environment. This fellowship supports the transition into pediatric practice through hands-on experience, didactic learning, simulation, and professional development. Education

Advanced Practice Registered Nurses

• Master's Degree in Nursing as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse is required.

Physician Assistants

Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies is required.

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification

Advanced Practice Registered Nurses

• Current Texas professional registered nurse license

• Current Texas professional advanced practice registered nurse license

• Certified as a Family or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner required

• Current Basic Life Support (CPR) required

• Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required

Physician Assistants

• Current Texas professional physician assistant license

• Certified as a PA-C

• Current Basic Life Support (CPR) required

• Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required
