DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As the Chief Real Estate Appraiser, you will ensure appraisals are conducted efficiently, accurately reflecting fair market value and providing appropriate compensation for any damage. Your leadership will ensure that our projects are completed on time and within state and federal procedures, policies, and requirements. In addition to overseeing the appraisal process, you will handle all excess right-of-way sales, including advertising, agreements of sales, and deeds. Conducts bid opening and auction sales. Handles all requests from the public concerning excess right-of-way.

- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 5 days per pay period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in King of Prussia. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.
- This position may be eligible for alternate work schedule (AWS).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a General Real Estate Appraiser (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Three years of professional real estate appraisal experience which includes one year appraising all types of real property.
Special Requirements:
- This position requires possession of an active Pennsylvania Certified General Appraiser certification.
- This position requires possession of an active motor vehicle license.
Other Requirements:
