Mid-Level Infrastructure Project Manager - AFRL LOCATION: Eglin AFB, FL JOB STATUS: Full-time CLEARANCE: Secret TRAVEL: Once or twice a year Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Infrastructure Project Manager for the Tenants contract, supporting the Air Force Division located at the Air Force Research Laboratory, Advance Concepts Division (AFRL/RWC) at Eglin AFB, FL. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- Bachelor's or Master's degree
- 3 - 10 years of work experience, or additional years' experience for degree substitution
- *Active Top Secret security clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required)*
- Full working knowledge of a wide range of infrastructure (facility, IT, Cyber, Security) management concepts, principles and practices established in legislation, executive orders, regulations, directives and policy decisions
- 3-5 years project management experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- Prefer AFRL working knowledge or DoD COMSEC working knowledge
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, as well as various AF security programs/ databases
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel, maintaining multiple spreadsheets & tracking information
- Excellent customer service experience and skills
- Prefer prior AF experience with highly technical programs, working with scientists and engineers
- Experience working with Cyber/IT Systems
- Certification in project management
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Infrastructure Project Manager with duties that include overseeing all RWC Infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to complete requirements and draft Statements of Work for submittal and approval.
- Coordinate with Base Contracting and Civil Engineer (CE) to execute projects and track expenses.
- Submit all Contracts by Requestor (CBR's) and manage all stages of the project while keeping leadership updated of project readiness/completion.
- Reconfigure office layouts, coordinate purchases of additional workstations/hardware, schedule/escort all vendors to install new office layouts and coordinate personnel movement as required.
- Plan, track and maintain oversight for all CE repairs and building projects with customers/stakeholders. Coordinate with internal and external partners on project readiness. Attend all CE mandated infrastructure meetings and report findings to RWC leadership.
- Develop/review short and long-term plans for facility upgrades in accordance with facilities program ensuring minimal impacts to research/mission productivity.
- Manage RWC's TRIRIGA Program by submitting work orders and track progress. Serve as the main focal point for the daily maintenance of all service request/responses with the Civil Engineer Organization.
- Monitor the fire prevention and protection program; ensuring the Division has an effective and operational program.
- Facilitate and manage all interactions with internal and external agencies to include RW Infrastructure, Facility Management, Base Civil Engineering, Environmental/Bioenvironmental Management, Fire, Safety and Security.
- Coordinate with RWC IT/Cyber office on projects pertaining to IT/Cyber systems.
