The Wyant College of Optical Sciences is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Associate with expertise and/or interest in Computational Imaging, Holography and Optical design. The ideal candidates will be able to contribute to the research of imaging technology being developed for assessment of non-melanoma skin cancers. This position is full-time and on-site at the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ. | Duties & Responsibilities |
1. Contribute to research projects in close collaboration with faculty supervisors, PhD students and undergraduates. 2. Innovate new areas of computational imaging, modeling optical designs, and lab work for data acquisition and post process. 3. Present research findings in meetings and publish in scientific journals; maintain detailed records and datasets. |
| Minimum Qualifications |
1. Must have Ph.D by the time of hire in Optics, Electrical Engineering or similar disciplines. 2. Extensive research experience in prototyping coherent/holographic imaging systems. 3. Expert in optical design software such as Zemax and CodeV. 4. Demonstrated research experience in holographic waveguide development and/or flat-optics design, with a focus on optical system miniaturization. |
